Cat Food Recipes – Quick, Easy, Nutritious

For years, I thought that the best cat food was bought from the supermarket, in tins, packets and boxes. After all, the marks said things like “scientifically proven” and “recommended by vets” and “low ash”, things that seemed to indicate to me the manufacturers knew what they were talking about.

I don’t doubt, that you do or perhaps did, feel the same.

It’s simpler to assume the best if you have high demands on your time. And who hasn’t these days?

It was only when I started looking at a more holistic way of treatment, that I started to run into the thought that perhaps commercial pet food wasn’t the best way.

After all, the makers of such food are normal people trying to make their business pay. It’s tempting to cut corners. And the more corners you cut, the simpler it becomes.

Now, you’re probably as concerned as I am about the lack of quality in commercial pet food. From the low grade meat, to the meat-by-products, to the high stout, to the synthetic nutrients, to the chemical preservatives. Even the cans aren’t safe, with BPA in the lining leaking into the food.

Really, the only way to ensure your family or your pet is getting proper nutrition is to make it yourself, from scratch.

And, of course, just as you and your family want variety, so too does your cat.

So you’re looking for some inspiring cat food recipes?

Ones that are quick to deliver after a hard day’s work?

Ones that are nutritious and balanced to ensure your cat’s ongoing excellent health?

Ones that don’t cost an arm and a leg?

Well, you’ve come to the right place!

When I adopted the thought of homemade cat food, I struggled with providing my cats with food they would eat and which was healthy. It took a lot of trial and error, but I got there in the end.

Now I know what the most nutritious cat food is, I know what cats like and I can vary the meals so they get something different every day of the week.

I thought others might like to learn from my experiences, rather than make their own mistakes. Why reinvent the wheel? This other has gone before and ironed out the wrinkles for you!

Cat food recipes must contain the essential meat that cats need, but just by varying one ingredient, you can make a difference that will stimulate your cats appetite.

And it’s just so simple!

OK, I admit, it’s not quite as simple as opening a can or box. But then, I’m guessing you’re looking beyond that, for quality and health enhancing nutrition.

Excellent quality homemade cat food recipes are fun to make, simple to do and ensures your cat’s optimum health.

The emphasis is on excellent quality.

I’ve read many different cat food recipes which really aren’t worth the paper they’re written on. It’s obvious that the writer hasn’t done any research into the dietary requirements of cats.

My cat food recipes are based on what I have researched, but also what holistic veterinarians are saying, as a body. They’re saying what really works, what diseases, often serious, melt away with a proper diet, made from excellent quality homemade cat food recipes.

Delight in!

Tips For Using The Vacuum Sealer Successfully

If you’ve chose that you want to make use of your own vacuum sealer in order to preserve your own food at home, then you’re on the right track to becoming more self-sufficient. A few fantastic tips that you can use to help make your vacuum sealing process go smoothly and without distress are to make sure your supplies are fully stocked, make sure you are up to date with the latest and greatest techniques for sealing food, and also making sure that you have everything properly labeled when you place it in the freezer or closet.

In order to keep you vacuum sealing process moving, you’ll want to make sure that you have all the supplies you need. You’ll always want to make sure you have a excellent supply of vacuum sealer bags on hand. This is perhaps one of the most vital items that you’ll want to be sure of. You have a couple options when it comes to the type of bags that you use for your vacuum sealer. There are the pre-cut bags, which are bags that are already cut to size, and there is also the supply of bags that comes as raw material on a roll. This material can be cut into any size that you require.

The second vital tip that you have to keep in mind when dealing with your vacuum sealer is the technique you are using to seal your food items. When dealing with dry food items, you can use the method that is most common which is sealing the food in plastic bags with all of the air removed. Sealing wet foods is a small more hard since it is harder to get a excellent seal on the regular plastic bags. This prevents you from being able to properly seal the food items with this method. The best method for sealing these items is to dry them out if possible, and then seal them. If drying is not possible, they can be partially frozen in order to eliminate the moisture on the outer surface. Once the food item is partially frozen, you can carry out your normal food sealing method.

Once you have completed the sealing process for all food items you’ll want to make sure you mark them accordingly. This will help you later on down the road when you are trying to identify the items that you are taking out of the freezer or storage area. It is vital to include the date in the labeling process. This will allow you to coordinate which food items get used by going in order by the date. This will also ensure that food items are fresh when you take them out to consume them.

It’s vital that you keep these few steps in mind when carrying out your vacuum sealing process. This will ensure that your efforts are not wasted and you’ll be able to make the most out of each and every item that you preserve.

The Benefits of Using LED Grow Lights versus Other Lighting Sources

Light emitting diode (LED) grow lighting sources help in the growing of plants indoors because their basic electronic structure can be engineered to provide the exact lighting spectrum needed to optimize the growth and flowering of plants. This spectrum of blue, orange and red was originally developed by NASA to efficiently grow plants on the international space station. Astronauts needed to produce their own food because of some of the long stays on the ISS and for research in sustainable food production on trips to other planets. The engineers of NASA invented the LED lighting source that is super efficient (used less electricity), produces a low amount of heat and makes the exact bandwidth for plants to grow and produce food.

Most lighting industry experts are confident that LED lighting will start to replace all other lighting sources including compact fluorescents. One of the world’s largest lighting manufacturers has stopped all research and development into any other light sources except solid state lighting which is the category LED lights fall under. This company alone is investing 5% of their current revenues into research in solid state lighting.

Here are some of the benefits of utilizing LED lights to grow plants of all types:

- LED Grow Lights are very efficient in transforming electricity into light. This means that LED’s use up to 80% of the energy used to make light. In comparison, incandescent lights efficiency is at around 5%. This efficiency produces less heat and a high watt to lumen ratio.

- LED grow lights have a lower heat signature and are less likely to burn leaves. Conventional plant lighting makes high temperature zones under the hood which will burn leaves and flowers if the plant is placed too close to the bulb.

- The minimum heat produced by LED’s and efficient use electricity allows people living in small homes, offices or apartments simpler access to the indoor gardening world. In a small space, such as a closet or basement corner, they can grow large amounts of organic food affordably all year long without concerns of climate or available outdoor space.

- LED’s produce low or no UV light because of how the light is designed and manufactured. Most other legacy lighting sources produce a broad spectrum of light that a plant does not use efficiently. Legacy types of grow lights do have a more focused spectrum but produce a lighting spectrum that goes into the ultraviolet (UV) spectrum which can be harmful to plants and people.

- LED lights produce a directional cone of light that sends light in a measurable direction. A standard bulb heats a filament and or gas to make light. This type of lighting goes in all directions making the use of hoods and reflectors necessary to direct the light to the plants. The average angle of light coming from a LED grow light is 120 degrees compared to 360 degrees in conventional lighting.

Common Misconceptions about Organic Search Marketing

Time and time again people come to Webolutions with fake expectations made by reading substandard blog posts or receive guidance from less than reputable online marketing firms. It is time to clear up the misconceptions and set the record straight:

Internet Marketing Takes NO Effort: Fake – Internet Marketing is time-consuming. I am sure you have all seen the advertisements or spam emails saying, “Make money from home by working on the Internet.” Well, not only are some of them scams, but it isn’t as simple as it sounds. When it comes to search engine optimization and search marketing, it takes time, experience, research and strategy to achieve top ranking in the organic search results. Depending on the competitive nature of your market and the established foundation of the current site, it could take months to achieve top rankings in the natural search results.

Optimization Is a One Time Deal: Fake – One of the most common misconceptions of online marketing is that once a site is ranking in the top positions on the first page, you’ll be able to maintain those rankings without any additional effort. This is fake for a few reasons. First, your competition is constantly working hard to obtain top positioning in the natural search results also. Therefore, if your competition is working hard to push your site from its positioning, it is imperative you stay one step ahead of the competition. This means proactively building quality, authoritative links to your site; making, optimizing and syndicating articles; and building-out and optimizing landing pages. There are many strategies to consider when maintaining your organic positioning. Once the site is ranking and traffic is driven to your Website, it is vital to make sure the page converts your visitors. The best way to ensure your Web pages are converting to the best of their ability is by A/B and multivariate testing of your page’s performance through advanced analytics. It can take months to fine-tune advertising campaigns and page performance.

SEO is Meta Tags & Keywords On a Page: Fake – Often we hear “To achieve organic ranking, you simply implement keywords in the Meta tags and in the content.” At first, it was that simple. Getting random links and keywords in the text did the trick. Unfortunately, it isn’t that simple today. It takes time to learn search engine strategies and monitor algorithm changes in the search engines. There are many factors the search engines consider when ranking a site. For example, linking, Website content, themeing, etc. Having a dedicated search engine marketing professional working on your behalf is the best way to achieve and maintain your organic rankings.

Can We Do Our Own Search Engine Optimization? Maybe – With the search engines updating their algorithm on a continuous basis, it is imperative to stay on top of the changes and most people don’t have the resources to do so. It takes time to read blogs and test new strategies. That is why hiring a firm who has dedicated staff that stays on top of the changes, would be beneficial to your organization. Unless your organization has a full time SEO, it is our recommendation to not try it on your own. You run the possibility of reading terrible blogs and implementing a strategy that could get your site penalized.

Designers, IT & Developers Can Do Our Search Engine Optimization: Maybe – Many organizations have their own in-house designers, IT or application developers. Most people reckon that since they work in the computer industry, they must know how to do optimization and search marketing. It would be like having a car mechanic fix your refrigerator. They are two different areas of expertise. Optimization is like a puzzle with hundreds of pieces to it. To learn how to get all the pieces to fit can take months, even years to comprehend. It would be hard for a full-time designer, IT support or developer to have enough time to spend performing online marketing efficiently.

Automated Software Will Get the Same Results: Fake – The most obvious reason, there is no software program sophisticated enough to keep up with search engine algorithm updates. Second, there is no program that can identify keyword opportunities, optimize your content and build quality, authoritative links back to your site.

SEO Companies Can Guarantee Organic Ranking: Fake – There is no such thing as a guarantee with search engine optimization. For companies that do guarantee rankings, it is usually for keywords that are rarely searched, not competitive and don’t drive qualified traffic to your site. Therefore, what’s the point? Our advice is to not go with any company that guarantees organic ranking.

A Website Is All I Need to Drive Traffic to My Site: Fake – One of the most common misconceptions is that if you build a Website, they will come. There are many aspects in search engine optimization that helps achieve organic rankings. But, an up-to-date site may help in search engine crawlability and convert the visitors from lookers to bookers.

Design First, SEO Later: Fake – Time and time again, people come to us with a Website that was built without considering search engine optimization. What they get is a flashy site that looks pretty, but isn’t as marketable on the Web. Flash Websites are a fantastic example of Websites that look pretty, but don’t perform very well in the search engines. What’s the point of building a Website that no one will be able to find, or isn’t user-friendly? Using a professional online marketing company will reduce the chances of having to revisit design issues when it comes time to market the site.
